Much welcome depth and strategy to mid/late game. I think they hit a home run with the R&F update. Their first contact bonuses are powerful, and getting lucky with city state placement can really snowball a civ hard. Default 15 is too many city states for me.
The default 10 civs for large maps doesnt seem like enough players late game after 2-4 of them have been eliminated.Ĭity states: 10-12. Not 100% sure what makes me like these civs, except for America because that's where I live.Ĭivs: 12. Player civ: (By percent games played) America, Japan, Congo, France, Arabia. My preferred game set up that I use for pretty much every single game I play is: I want to see how other players in the community like to experiene civ 6 as of the most recent update. I prefer immersion and consistency of pace. I've never played a single online pvp game, and when I play, I play mostly for the "story" of the game. I've been playing civilization for about a decade now, and I've found my style of play to be very casual.
