

The C-7's we use now are much lighter and, as it is, much more resilliant. As in, after maybe 100-200 shots, the chances of it jamming were through the roof. I dont know what series of FN you worked with, but the ones the canadian military used were designated the FN-C1, which weighed about 30 pounds, was mostly made out of heavy wood, and needed to have the firing pin regularily disassembled since it could take only so much gunpowdered getting rammed into itself.
